About Nephrodite
At Nephrodite, we are a group of Clinicians, Scientists and Engineers developing an implantable device to improve the quality of life and health outcomes for individuals with end stage kidney disease. Over 3 million patients worldwide suffer from end-stage renal disease and have an average life expectancy of only 5-8 years because of the complications associated with dialysis. We have developed a hybrid implantable and wearable continuous dialysis device, eliminating the need for ‘in-center’ dialysis thereby resulting in a better quality of life while also decreasing the costs associated dialysis care. The company has cleared several major design and development hurdles proving our device’s ability to clear waste products from blood and ultrafiltrate through our proprietary design - all moving towards bringing the device to market.
