About MatchGrant
MatchGrant was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, to solve one of the largest inefficiencies in the social impact economy: access to funding. In the United States alone, over $100 billion in foundation grants are distributed annually, yet millions of nonprofits struggle to access this capital due to fragmented information, complex application processes, and limited internal capacity. Smaller organizations — often delivering critical community services — are disproportionately excluded. MatchGrant was co-created alongside more than 50 nonprofit organizations to redesign the grant process from the ground up. Rather than acting as another database, the platform functions as an intelligent operating system for grant funding. Organizations build structured profiles describing their programs and impact areas. MatchGrant’s AI analyzes this data alongside grant criteria, historical funding behavior, and organizational alignment signals to generate prioritized funding opportunities and assist with execution. Since launch, MatchGrant has gained paying customers across the nonprofit sector and is growing recurring revenue while continuously improving matching accuracy through real-world usage data. The broader opportunity extends beyond nonprofits. MatchGrant is building infrastructure that can serve: Nonprofits seeking funding Foundations seeking better discovery of high-impact organizations Government and SLED entities managing grant distribution
